New Developments for Pirtek Website and Intranet

Leading fluid transfer solutions provider Pirtek, has launched a fresh and innovative look for its website along with an enhanced intranet system for internal communications.

Pirtek Website
The new, European main website can be accessed at www.pirtek-europe.com and enables slick navigation to all European websites from a centralised home page. Each main area within the Pirtek Europe network – UK, France, Germany and the Benelux countries – has its own site which can be viewed in a choice of languages.

The homepage houses a live European map highlighting all countries where Pirtek is active, as well as general contact information for head offices in each country together with a company profile.

The Pirtek UK domain remains the same, www.pirtek.co.uk; this can be accessed directly, or from the new European site. There are three main sections to the UK homepage which reflect the core aspects of Pirtek’s business: Emergency On-site Service, PITSTOP Trade Centres and the Pirtek Catalogue.

Any product special offers, new product information and catalogue requests will be flagged up on the homepage, along with all existing products and services, a Pirtek company profile and general information. A new section has also been created for latest News and Press releases to capture all Pirtek related news stories.

Various micro sites will also be activated to create easy navigation for users. These will include Pirtek Racing – so the many fans of the Pirtek-sponsored Mike Jordan can keep up to date with his progress in the 2007 BTCC series and soon to be added, a section on Andy Jordan who will be competing in the Renault Clio Cup. Further micro sites detail franchise opportunities and Pirtek merchandise.

Pirtek Intranet
The Intranet is an internal part of the Pirtek website designed and developed specifically for Pirtek centres as a centralised portal for information. It is the most effective source of communication from Pirtek UK to all Pirtek centres.
