With the ink barely dry on the declaration that London is to host the 2012 Olympic Games, the company is already setting in place the support services needed to ensure that contractors hit vital completion deadlines on the hundreds of associated construction projects in and around the capital.

Preparation Across the UK Although the lion’s share of the Olympics construction work will be in and around the capital, investment and preparation will not be limited to Pirtek’s 10 London Service and Supply Centres. "The 2012 Olympic Games represents the largest combined construction project in recent UK history and it will effect contractors right across the UK," says Pirtek’s Construction and Plant Hire Sector Manager, Steve Derry. UK Sales Director Russell Mundell is similarly excited at the prospect of an upturn in construction demand in the run-up to the 2012 Olympic Games.
